1. Drink tons of water!
- On average per day, an adult should drink at least 1.5 fl/oz of water.
- In reality, we don't always drink enough water or we tend to get bored of it. Instead of reaching for a sugary drink, here are a few ideas to give your water some flavor the natural way! Next time you get tired of drinking plain old water try adding slices of lemon to your water to give it some flavor all while getting some vitamin C and creating a radiant glow for your skin. Also, if your not in to mood or you don't like lemons, try slicing up a cucumber and dropping the slices into your water for some essential vitamins. Cucumber water is said to be very calming and relaxing and can keep you hydrated and feeling great!
2. Moisturize Daily!
- Try to find a moisturizer that does not have a lot of fragrance because the alcohol in the fragrance is a main cause of drying out your skin, thus the reason why it feels like you have to apply it more often.
- Look for a moisturizer that has Vitamin E as well as Shea Butter for extra hydration. Try Jergans Sea Butter Body Lotion (around $6.00) at all major Drugstores as well as Target and Walmart.
3. Always Use SPF!
- Before going outside, make sure you ALWAYS put SPF on at least your face.
- Make sure the SPF is at least 25 or higher sun protection.
- If you know you are going to be spending the day outside i.e going to the beach, going to the park etc. wear a hat to shade your face so you wont dry it out and you can protect it from free radical damage.
