What is Microdermabrasion?
Microdermabrasion, also known as Micro, is a resurfacing treatment using tools or products designed to rejuvenate and restore natural glow to the skin, which can also be considered as a deep exfoliation. This procedure, when done by a machine, does not take any longer than 30-60 minutes and should be done every 4 weeks. It is not recommended that pregnant/nursing women or teenagers try this procedure due to the fact that their hormones might change the effects on the skin after the procedure.
Where can Micro be preformed?
Micro can be performed on your face, neck, chest, back, feet, or hands. Micro used to only be offered in Cosmetic Surgery clinics but now can be found at almost any spa/salon and in almost any product collection.

What is a good product to use?
Epicuren's Micro derm exfoliating cream can be used on any skin type. It is an advanced microcrystal exfoliating cream that gets rid of unwanted dry or dead skin cells, leaving the skin feel soft and smooth. This cream is designed for problem areas such as fine lines, wrinkles, congestion, pigmentation variations, and small scars. Some of its main ingredients include Lemon Extract, Orange Oil, Lime Oil, Glycerin, and Magnesium Microcrystals. Because of the Lemon Extracts, Orange Oil, and Lime Oil, this cream gives off the fresh citrus scent that awakens your scenes. To use this product, apply a dime sized amount or cream to damp skin and work in simple circles on face, neck, and decollete areas. Rinse thoroughly and follow with toner. Always remember to not use harsh circles or washcloth while applying or rinsing. Also, do not use this product more than three times a week as it is a deep exfoliant.
